UniCredit Group is the sponsor of New Europe Master in Banking and Entrepreneurship

This ASFOR-accredited post-graduate program aims to provide a technical and practical understanding of the European banking system and of the multifaceted relationships between banks and business communities. It was initiated in 2003 as a joint effort of UniCredit Group and Fondazione Cassamarca.

What differentiates the New Europe Master's from other programs, is its strong focus on banking and entrepreneurship, coupled with the opportunity to engage in a 3-month internship at one of the banks or business areas of UniCredit Group.

It also provides participants with a chance to live in Italy and absorb the language and culture of the country.

 

For whom is it the right program?

 

The New Europe Master in Banking and Entrepreneurship is geared to graduates (both bachelor's and master's degrees) and young professionals with up to two years of professional experience. Ideal applicants should be citizens of Central and Eastern European countries where UniCredit Group is present.
Applicants should possess: a university degree, a TOEFL or similar certificate to demonstrate proficiency in English and preferably finance-related internship and /or work experience.

What does the program consist of?
Course modules cover the following subjects: Italian or German business language and culture, macro- and microeconomics, engines of change in the banking industry, corporate finance, retail, private and corporate banking, bank management and marketing.

When does the program start and how long does it run?
The 7th edition oft the New Europe Master in Banking and Entrepreneurship will start October 5, 2009. The program opens for applications on March 16, 2009.
Students will participate in at least 1,000 hours of classes, workshops and seminars (October 2009 - April 2010) followed by a 3-month internship (May - July 2010) and the final thesis (September 2010).
