Gianfranco Bisagni to head up CEE Corporate & Investment Banking

On 1 April Gianfranco Bisagni, 52, will take over as the Head of Corporate & Investment Banking in Bank Austria’s CEE Banking Division. He will succeed Gianni Franco Papa, who continued to serve as the head of the department on an interim basis following his appointment to Bank Austria’s Management Board. As the new Head of CEE CIB, Bisagni will be responsible for managing and developing business with corporates at the CEE subsidiary banks in the future.

 

Gianfranco Bisagni has a degree in business administration and has worked for UniCredit since 1977. His career has taken him through several positions at the bank, including as the Chief Manager of the branch in Hong Kong, where he also took on the overall responsibility as Head of Corporate Banking Asia Pacific. In his most recent position, which started in March 2010, Gianfranco Bisagni was the member of the management board responsible for the local Corporate & Investment Banking as well as the Private Banking at UniCredit Tiriac Bank Romania. Bisagni is married and has three children.
